This quote resonates deeply with me. I do find courage by creating art, but then it takes another level of courage to share it.
Art can bring solace and peace, like honey for the soul both for the viewer and the artist.
My works are mostly inspired by our beautiful local coastlines and environment, but my artistic expression is diverse - from ethereal imagery to abstract landscape, to vivid beach scapes.
My career as a TV Director has meant traveling and living all over the world so much of my artistic work is reflective of locations that have featured in my professional work.
To me, art is not just a creative outlet but also a form of meditation and filling of the soul’s cup.
My paintings are subsequently a statement reflecting a profound love of nature and who we can become when we embrace what Mother Earth naturally offers us every day.
